This accredited course is designed for Project Managers, who require an understanding of the agile approach and/or who are intending to run projects using the DSDM Atern framework.
Course Details
This accredited course is designed for Project Managers, who require an understanding of the agile approach and/or who are intending to run projects using the DSDM Atern framework.
The course will also benefit agile team members and Senior Managers who may be investigating the implications of adopting Agile Project Management within their organisation.
It is also designed to equip practising Project Managers with the confidence to sit the Agile-PM Foundation and Practitioner qualifications. Please note that examinations are the responsibility of the examination board, APMG.
Objectives
To provide delegates with a detailed, practical knowledge of Agile Project Management, based upon the DSDM Atern framework and to equip them with the ability to apply the agile approach in the workplace. Delegates will also understand how the agile way of working can sit alongside more traditional project management frameworks, such as PRINCE2®.
Delegates will understand how to plan, organise and control Agile projects and will receive a copy of the Agile Project Management Handbook.
Delegates should note the following:-

You are advised to be prepared to undertake some evening work in your own time, during the course

It is essential that you bring photo ID with you to enable you to take the examination

It is also recommended that you bring along sticky page markers to mark up the manual.
Examination
You will be prepared to sit the Agile-PM Foundation examination, held on the third day and for the Practitioner examination, held on the afternoon of the fourth day.
Please remember if you require special dispensations or arrangements for the exam and course, it is important that you let us know at the time of booking your course to ensure that arrangements can be made with the examining body.
Please note that the examination body will require you to provide signed, medical evidence before dispensation can be granted.
