To provide delegates with a detailed knowledge of the background, principles, structure and terminology used in the PRINCE2® 2009 Edition project management method and to prepare them to sit the PRINCE2 Foundation examination, held on the third day.

To provide delegates with a detailed knowledge of the background, principles, structure and terminology used in the PRINCE2 project management method and to prepare them to sit the PRINCE2 Foundation examination, held on the third day.
The course is designed for:
those playing, or wishing to play, an active role in a project environment where PRINCE2 is used, perhaps as Project Support, Team Managers, Project Assurance or Team Members wishing to gain a solid “grounding” in the method and to gain the Foundation qualification
anyone, typically Project Managers, needing to gain the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification before moving on to sit the Practitioner qualification.

Examination
Foundation Examination – the first level of PRINCE2 qualification, this examination will be held on the afternoon of Day 3:
- 75 multiple choice questions, including 5 non-scoring ‘trial’ questions
- 1 hour to answer
- 50% required to pass – 35/70
- No reference material permitted
